Columns and cylinders are made from tool steel SAE 1045 (identical to DIN C45), induction-hardened and chrome-plated on the exterior.
The linear encoder continually informs the control system of the ram position. Travel distance, upper stop, switch-over point (where the press changes from rapid approach to working speed), and the desired end position can be easily and quickly entered via the monitor control.
Working speed can be set in 1 mm/sec increments from 0 to 10 mm/sec and in 10 mm/sec steps from 10 to 155 mm/sec.
The control system monitors protected areas as well as the entire hydraulic circuit and pump.
The control unit is housed in a separate control cabinet.
The press itself is operated via a control panel mounted on a swivel arm, allowing for reduced operator movement.
