Scope of Supply
Hosokawa Alpine Pharmapaktor APC L200/30, with dosing unit, without Flake Crusher.

The Hosokawa Alpine Pharmapaktor APC L200/30 is the ideal compactor for testing the behavior of various products with this technology and also allows for continuous low-capacity production if required.

The Pharmapaktor can be fitted with a flake crusher granulator, which granulates the compacted material produced by the equipment, thus increasing the range of finished products that can be obtained with this system. Various shapes and sizes can be achieved – from different briquettes to granules as per specification. This flexibility allows the machine to be adapted to different products and applications.

Compactor Head
Two cast stainless steel H-frames connected by spacer bolts. Two foldable side arms for quick roll change. The moving arms are secured with two tie rods, which also absorb the forces generated by the two compaction rolls. An insert in the chamber guides product flow, and two central parts seal the rolls.

Pre-compactor Unit
The pre-compactor unit is mounted on a support column and can be lifted and rotated to the side. The feed hopper (with two breaker bars) is equipped with a cylindrical/conical pre-compression screw. When the pre-compaction unit is removed, a limit switch for the rolls and screw is activated.
