The following work was carried out and parts replaced: • Hydraulic oil tank drained and cleaned • Oil and air filters replaced • New hydraulic oil filled • All hydraulic hoses replaced • Dismantled press ram, disassembled into individual parts, overhauled the mechanics • Replaced the front two main running rollers • Replaced the knives on the press ram • Main hydraulic cylinder dismantled and disassembled, checked cylinder tube and piston rod, replaced complete set of seals • Counter-blade in the frame replaced • Knife clearance adjusted to approx. 3 mm • Upper steel guide rails on the left and right in the frame replaced • Removed worn press floor, replaced base plate with wear-resistant HARDOX steel • Dismantled tying and twisting unit, disassembled, overhauled the mechanics, replaced all twisting shafts and ball bearings • Replaced all wire spools in the needle heads • Cleaned and readjusted wire cutters, lubricated and tensioned chains • All wire guide rollers refurbished Nedex Dnb Uopfx Abuowb • All door contact switches replaced • Vibulator dismantled, disassembled and serviced • General maintenance performed Finally, the baler was tested in both manual and automatic modes; see our video of the machine function test.
