Purpose of Use
The automatic high-performance longitudinal circular saw KMS is designed for precise finishing and joint cuts. It features a robust, durable construction, built for continuous industrial operation in woodworking, plastics, or metal processing.

Machine Construction
Stable, welded steel frame in heavy-duty design.
Motor protection switch with automatic star-delta start.

Carriage guidance via precision round steel rails and ball-bearing rollers; rails are mounted on replaceable supports.
The complete carriage unit is located beneath the front machine table.

Saw Unit
Lowerable circular saw assembly, electro-pneumatically liftable.
Cutting height adjustment manually via threaded spindle.
Infinitely variable feed rate from 1–60 m/min, driven by frequency-controlled motor.
Return speed constant at 60 m/min, independent of feed rate.
Cutting length reduction for various cut lengths adjustable via selector switch.

Machine Table
Front machine table made from reinforced longitudinal beams, adjustable and stably mounted.
Table surface made of profiled steel sheets with recessed handles.
Width stop in cantilever design, supported and guided on three sides.
Spindle drive with fine adjustment via handwheel, scale directly readable.
Usable width: 400 mm (standard version).
Electro-pneumatically controlled stop rail with automatic retraction for free fall of cut material.
Rear machine table is narrow, can be swiveled downward electro-pneumatically for free fall during longitudinal cuts.

Saw Blade and Extraction
Designed for saw blades Ø 400 mm, bore Ø 30 mm, mount Ø 80 mm.
Maximum cutting height: 70 mm.
Integrated extraction duct, Ø 150 mm.

Double Circular Saw Unit “DUO”
For pre- and post-cutting, consisting of two saw blades Ø 400 mm and two 11 kW (15 HP) motors each.
Total cutting length: 3200 mm.
Pressure beam in torsion-resistant design with parallel guidance, lifting movement electro-pneumatically controlled.
Integrated finger contact safety strip.
