Single-sided automatic edge banding machine with jointing unit, hot-melt adhesive application for straight workpieces (EVA-PUR gluepot with discharge function optional), 2-motor HF cross-cut saw station, HF multifunction milling unit, 2-motor corner copying unit, chain feed, motorized top pressure with encoder and ball-bearing double roller top pressure, extendable workpiece support rail, signal lamp for workpiece sequence, integrated line control for contactless operation of machining functions as well as L-Motion control (18 axes). Suitable for ABS, PVC, melamine, and thick wood veneer roll material, as well as fixed lengths from 0.4 – 3.0/5.0 mm and workpiece heights from 10 – 60 mm.

• Automatic strip magazine (70 mm capacity) with spiked roller for wood strips.

• Two counter-rotating, application-controlled jointing units with diamond-tipped spiral jointers ensure clean and tear-free jointing of workpieces before edging

• Teflon-coated, quick-change gluepot with 1.5 kg capacity, leak-proof with glue supply from below (excess glue is automatically returned to the pot), fine-adjustable glue application by glue roller, separate glue roller temperature setting, electronic temperature control with automatic stand-by function (prevents glue burning if the machine remains on but unused for a prolonged period).
Optional: EVA/PUR gluepot with discharge and cleaning function for fast color change

• Pre-cutting shear for roll material up to 3 mm edge thickness.

• Pressure zone consisting of a driven pressure roller synchronized with the glue roller and two smaller, oppositely tapered pressure rollers with pneumatic pressure, ensuring a good bond between edge material and workpiece; program-controlled edge thickness setting with L-Motion motor

• High-frequency cross-cut saw equipped with two HF motors 0.55 kW, 12,000 rpm, 2 saw blades and high-precision linear guides ensure clean, precise cutting, equipped with extraction hoods. Pneumatically pivotable from the control panel

• High-frequency combination milling station, 2 powerful 0.55 kW high-frequency motors with multifunction tools (straight + 3 different radii), horizontal and vertical tracing of the workpiece, 3 each L-Motion motors for positioning the horizontal tracing shoes, positioning the vertical tracing shoes, and positioning the multifunction tool. 2 chip extraction hoods, height adjustment of the upper unit with top pressure.

• Corner copying unit: Automatic machining of end edges up to 3 mm edge thickness. Equipped with 2 high frequency motors 0.27 kW, switchable from the control panel. Option for single-sided (front or rear edge) or double-sided corner copying. 2 L-Motion motors each for positioning the horizontal tracing shoes and the tool.

• Swiveling control panel with 10” color touchscreen controls glue temperature settings, automatic temperature reduction during machine downtime, on/off for units and fault diagnostics, motorized top pressure, extensive program memory, plus full automatic operation control of machining units.
