Our Granulator MVZ 7.5 is ideal for shredding thin-walled plastic components or for secondary reduction of wood chips. More details can be provided after testing with your specific material.

Our granulators are used for processing a wide range of materials, such as plastics or wood. Both shredders and granulators are suitable for various size reduction applications.

For example, in injection molding operations, scrap parts and sprues are produced which need to be recycled. In blow molding, in addition to defective parts, flash and start-up purges need to be processed. The machine can easily handle blow molding materials such as PET bottles, PE/PP bottles, canisters or buckets, and pipes.

Material is fed from above via a hopper into the granulator’s chamber. The chamber contains a rotor equipped with cutting knives. Material is shredded between the rotating knives and the stationary knives mounted in the cutting chamber housing, until it reaches the defined granulate size and falls through a screen located beneath the rotor.
*Option: The regrind is typically conveyed pneumatically into Big Bags, silos, or other containers.
