The MACC SPECIAL 335 MS is a semi-automatic bandsaw suitable for cutting solid bars and small profiles, offering high performance and excellent precision. Its robust frame provides the necessary rigidity and accuracy to the cutting assembly. The blade is powered by a two-speed motor and a special gearbox with a hardened and ground bronze worm gear. The appropriately sized flywheels and robust blade guides are fitted with sealed bearings and adjustable carbide pads. Blade tensioning is managed via an electromechanical micro-switch, which is activated by rotating the blade. Safety features include an accident-prevention device on the flywheel covers and blade, complemented by a swiveling worktable for material support and a vice with rapid approach mechanism. Operation: The cutting cycle starts at the touch of a button: 1. the vice closes and the blade motor is activated; 2. the bow descends for cutting; 3. the bow returns to the start position; 4. the blade motor stops; 5. the vice opens.
