Introduction and Production Capacity
The used CFT can filling line for soft drinks – 12,000 cans per hour offers a complete solution for filling carbonated beverages into aluminum cans. CFT designed the line in 2017, configuring it for two slim formats commonly used in the soft drinks industry. Specifically, the system processes up to 12,000 cans per hour, thus meeting the production requirements of medium-sized operations. Starting 30.06.2025, the owner will offer the line for sale, presenting a valuable opportunity for companies aiming to expand their production capacity.
Depalletizing and Initial Inspection
First, the CFT depalletizer automatically separates the empty cans and feeds them into the production flow. Afterwards, a HEUFT inspection unit checks each can for visible defects and dimensional deviations. This ensures that only clean, undamaged cans proceed to rinsing. Furthermore, this early inspection step reduces the risk of downstream machine stoppages further along the line.
Can Conveyance and Rinsing
Next, CFT cable conveyors transport the accepted cans to a dual-channel rinser. The CFT rinser cleans the interior of each can using pressurized water jets or sterile air blasts. Consequently, the machine meets hygiene requirements in accordance with food and beverage regulations. Additionally, the dual-channel configuration increases throughput and mitigates contamination risks. Notably, this section plays a key role in maintaining microbiological safety.
Filling
After rinsing, a CFT monoblock handles both the filling and seaming operations with 12 filling valves and 4 seamer heads. The machine efficiently processes cans of 150 ml and 330 ml. It also precisely controls pressure and temperature to prevent CO₂ loss during the filling of carbonated beverages. Furthermore, this phase supports both performance and product integrity, thereby ensuring consistent quality at high speeds.
Inspection of Filled Cans and Rejection
Following the filling step, another HEUFT unit inspects the filled cans for fill levels, closure integrity, and absence of leaks. If non-conforming cans are detected, an automatic HEUFT rejection module removes them from the conveyor. This protects the quality of downstream processes.
