Our SAPI pressure blasting unit, type "Mammut," with a 60-liter tank capacity, is suitable for all standard blasting media. The blasting pressure can be continuously adjusted from 0.1 to 12 bar via the built-in pressure regulator. A water separator is also permanently installed on the blasting unit, which removes moisture from the compressed air and prevents clumping of the blasting media due to excessive humidity.

For safe operation of the sandblasting unit, our safety shut-off is included. This starts and stops the blasting process by actuating the hand lever mounted on the blasting hose.

ADVANTAGES OF THE SAPI PRESSURE BLASTING UNIT with safety shut-off

- Fastest switching times on and off, while complying with trade association regulations (VBG 48)
- The pressure can be precisely set before the actual blasting process, infinitely adjustable from 0.1 to 12.0 bar
- Reduced media consumption, as the pressure vessel remains permanently pressurized, preventing unnecessary media run-on
- Upon restarting, full blasting pressure is immediately available at the nozzle without needing to build up slowly. This ensures significantly lower media consumption and considerably less wear on the blasting hose
- No condensation forms in the vessel, as the tank remains continuously pressurised and is not repeatedly vented for each start and stop. This method also offers other advantages as follows:
- Optimal blasting media dosing with hardened fine dosing valve
- Reduced compressed air requirement, resulting in significantly lower fuel (diesel) consumption
- One-man operation, as blasting pressure is constantly displayed by the vessel pressure and can easily be adjusted via the manometer without starting beforehand
- No failure-prone components such as control valves, membranes or seals, making it low-maintenance and reliable. Only the blasting hose in the safety shut-off needs to be checked and replaced if necessary.
