The machine can be installed flush with the floor.

The machine features a robust flatbed for fast and precise movement of the machine column along the X-axis. Hardened compact roller guides, a 1,200 mm guideway width, and a rack-and-pinion drive with two electronically preloaded servomotors ensure accuracy and dynamic performance.

The machine column is constructed as a steel welded design with compact roller guides. Liquid-cooled feed drives, two measuring systems, and telescopic steel covers provide high precision, constant temperature, and protection from chips and coolant. The spindle head slide and spindle head are made from GGG 60 and are stably guided along long guideways.

The twin-spindle drive operates via two vertical ball screws with separate drives, measuring systems, and CNC axes. Feed/rapid traverse: 2–30,000 mm/min, acceleration: 3.5 m/s². Direct, contactless linear measuring systems ensure high manufacturing accuracy.

Automatic Universal Milling Head
45° diagonal milling head with C and A axes, positionable in 0.01° increments, liquid-cooled, GGG-60 cast construction. C-axis ±180°, A-axis ±360°, individual axis drives, face gearing with ±3 sec indexing accuracy, hydromechanical tool clamping, and both internal and external coolant supply. Drive via frequency-controlled, liquid-cooled main motor.

Electrics / Supply
Electrical equipment in accordance with EN 60204, 400/230 V, 50 Hz, 160 A slow-blow fuse, control voltage 24 V, connected load approx. 80 kVA. Protection class IP54 for control cabinet, motors, and drives. Control cabinet cooling with closed dual-chamber system. Compressed air connection 6 bar, G 1". Energy saving mode with standby function and power consumption below 1 kW.

Equipment
Heidenhain TNC 640, electronic handwheel HR 510, operator’s console carrier 2 x 800 mm, remote diagnostics via network or SIM card. Lubrication depending on assembly via central impulse lubrication, permanent grease, oil mist, and grease lubrication. Painted in RAL 7016, RAL 7004, and RAL 7035 with green-yellow accents.

Installation / Clamping Technology
TightBlock subframe for flush floor installation with high mass for damping and customer-specific locator arrangement. Clamping plate DIN 876/2, 2,000 x 2,000 mm, T-slots 22 H12, spacing 250 mm. CNC rotary table Ø2,000 mm, 15 t load capacity, centering bush Ø100 H7, radial runout 0.010 mm, axial runout 0.025 mm, speed 5 rpm.

Tool and Coolant System
ToolCenter for 48 tools with loading during main time, double gripper, automatic loading door, and approx. 10 s tool change time. Max. tool diameter 125 mm, with free adjacent pockets 250 mm, length 500 mm, weight 25 kg. Coolant system 950 l with paper band filter, filtration accuracy < 50 µm, high-pressure pump 40 bar / 32 l/min, and wash gun.

Main Drive / Safety
Liquid-cooled AC main drive direct to the milling head: 50 kW at 100% duty cycle, 75 kW at 40% duty cycle. Speed 10–6,000 rpm, torque 802 Nm or 1,204 Nm. Tool interface SK 50 BIG-PLUS, retention force 20 kN.

SHW UniScan for 3D crash and vibration monitoring as well as machine diagnostics. Additional features: laser tool measurement, Renishaw RMP 60 Q radio probe, operating mode 3, 3-sided splash and chip protection wall, safety access, adjustment plates, longitudinal grating, and hinged belt chip conveyor.
