The mortising for the crossbars is performed in a single operation by an upper and a lower milling unit, while the notching is accomplished by a third milling unit. After positioning the workpiece, it is automatically clamped at the push of a button, the crossbar is milled, and the workpiece is released.
With an additional front grooving unit (the fourth unit), it is possible to manufacture completely tear-free crossbars on the visible side of already pre-profiled bars.
This ensures the high fitting accuracy of all crossbars produced with our KSF-2/4 crossbar milling machine.
