The MSP 120 ZK is optimally suited for the shredding and subsequent briquetting of various types of metal chips.

The MSP 120 ZK briquetting press with integrated shredder consists of a hydraulic chip press and a pre-mounted shredder, which are precisely matched to each other. This system enables the shredding and compaction of chips produced during turning and milling operations. The volume is significantly reduced, and the briquettes are separated from the coolants (coolant emulsion, oil) that were absorbed during previous machining processes.

The plant consists of a feed hopper for loading the material to be processed and an integrated shredder inside, which reduces the length of the metal chips.
A conveyor system continuously transfers the shredded chips via a conveyor belt into the hopper of the chip press. There, two augers feed the material into the compaction chamber.
The system features a monitored liquid collection tank and a pump. The cooling agents can be returned to the production process.
The cycle control is managed via a PLC and an electronic level sensor for monitoring the fill level in the hopper.
Optionally, a tipping device for manual loading of the system can be added as needed.
