ZERMA ZPS

ZERMA single-shaft shredders of the ZPS series offer universal application possibilities.

They are suitable for shredding heavy and bulky parts that cannot be directly reduced in size using a granulator. The large and heavy rotor of the ZPS shredder series, combined with the low rotor speed and high torque, ensures minimal power spikes and thus helps to avoid high energy costs.

Single-shaft shredders from the ZPS series are designed for a wide range of applications. Depending on the specific requirements, the shredded material can be used directly in the processing workflow or further granulated in a downstream granulator.

Shredders of the ZPS series are equipped with a two-stage hydraulic system that prevents rotor blockage. The knives and knife holders are securely bolted into the rotor.
Generously dimensioned, externally mounted rotor bearings and a hydraulically swiveling screen basket are part of the standard equipment of every shredder.

These machines can be upgraded or customized with numerous options, such as rotor cooling or Hardox wear protection armor.

Compared to the ZSS shredders, the ZPS series machines feature a more powerful pusher system, which optimizes material feed between the ram and the rotor, especially when processing large-volume components or pipes.
