Uciosarko - the U2PRW drilling machine is designed for processing strips and furniture fronts made of solid wood or MDF. The machine operates in semi-automatic cycle mode. In a single cycle, the machine performs: cutting at a specified angle (within a 45–90 degree range) and drilling on the mitered surface or the edge of the workpiece.

Processing Assemblies

The device is equipped with two processing assemblies: the left assembly, which is fixed, and the right assembly – movable. Each assembly consists of the following main units: main saw unit, scoring saw, drilling unit for drilling on the mitered surface, and drilling unit for drilling underneath the workpiece.

Lower hole drilling unit

This unit is installed optionally. It is used for processing corner strips for adjustable-width door frames. It performs a blind drilling (not through-hole), typically for cup hinges. The attached picture shows a mounted red cover, which serves as a bed for the processed angle strips as well as a cover with chip extraction.

Workpiece clamping

The machine is also equipped with a dual-plane clamping system incorporating both horizontal and vertical clamps. The horizontal clamps are responsible for pressing the workpiece against the vertical reference points and straightening it, while the vertical clamps immobilize the piece during processing. Horizontal clamping is always activated before vertical clamping.

Control system

The machine's control system is user-friendly, intuitive, and functional. It allows individual activation or deactivation of all processing units, with separate controls for the left and right sides. All main units have independent drives. The right processing assembly is positioned by pressing the corresponding control buttons on the control panel. The actuation mechanism is a gear system with an electric motor driving a trapezoidal screw. The electronic US-control system with operator panel and digital readout is used to read and set the length of the workpiece. This system also automatically adjusts the length counter readout when changing between 45° and 90° cutting angles. Additionally, it is responsible for automatic referencing.
