About the machine:

Offered here is a Deckel FP2 universal milling machine in excellent condition. The FP2 originates from a government facility’s laboratory where it saw very little use. Included is an accessory cabinet with a wide range of tools. The machine has minimal backlash and all spindles move smoothly. The geometry is outstanding. Even at maximum spindle speeds, the milling machine runs quietly. This newer FP2 model features infinitely variable feeds on all three axes and a rapid traverse for each axis. A major advantage is the active 3-axis digital readout. With this Heidenhain control, you can input dimensions that the machine will approach automatically. An oil change has been performed. The machine has been mechanically and electrically tested. The Heidenhain digital readout makes operation easier and even more precise.
