For example, in injection molding, rejects and sprues are produced that need to be reprocessed. In blow molding, in addition to rejects, there are parisons or start-up waste. The system can process blow molding materials such as PET bottles, PE/PP bottles, canisters, buckets, pipes, and more.
Material is fed from above via a hopper into the cutting chamber of the granulator. Inside, a rotor equipped with cutting knives shreds the material between the rotating knives and the stationary counter-knives mounted in the chamber until it passes as regrind through the screen located below the rotor. *Option: The ground material is usually transported pneumatically into big bags, silos, or other containers.
