This complete bottling line is designed and configured to deliver a high-quality, consistent bottling process for both still and sparkling wines. It is based on an isobaric triblock system, integrating rinsing, filling, and capping functions in a continuous flow to ensure excellent efficiency while maintaining product integrity. The line is currently set up for a throughput of 4,500 bottles per hour for still wines and 3,000 bottles per hour for sparkling wines.
It is technically pre-arranged for sparkling wine production and only requires a mushroom corker, a capsule applicator for Spumante foils, and a heat tunnel if necessary.
The system is equipped with special conveyors, a central lubrication system, and separate control panels for conveyor management, enabling easy maintenance and smooth integration with existing plant automation. The entire layout follows a linear configuration, optimized for space utilization and ensuring smooth product transition between each stage without unnecessary bottlenecks.

Bottling process and core machinery
At the start of the line, empty bottles are automatically fed into the system via a depalletizer. This equipment gently lifts and transfers the bottles onto the infeed table while maintaining their integrity. The bottles are then transferred to the triblock system, where three main operations are carried out in sequence: rinsing, filling, and capping.
The isobaric filling technology ensures precise fill levels and uniform carbonation for sparkling wines while also being perfectly suited for filling still wines. The filling valves are designed to minimize oxygen uptake, which is essential for maintaining the sensory properties and shelf life of the wine. The rinser operates with either clean water or a sanitizing solution to ensure the bottles are contaminant-free before filling. The capping turret, currently configured for still wine closures, is used with BVS screw caps or traditional corks depending on the chosen format.
A dosing unit for gum arabic is integrated into the system. This setup allows precise addition of stabilizers after filling to help maintain wine clarity and prevent precipitation during storage. A dedicated steam generator (evaporator) is included for both pipeline disinfection and, if needed, pre-heating applications.
