Often, extraction systems with coolant recovery installed on machines are not sufficiently effective, or simply are not installed at all. Machine tool retooling, frequent opening of enclosures, or a lack of coverage near machining heads leads to oil mist escaping outside the machines, putting workplace personnel at risk of inhaling harmful mists and vapors.

Installing a ventilation tower significantly improves air quality at workstations and should be considered an ideal filtration and ventilation complement for production halls where full separation of oil mist using coolant recovery devices is impossible or extremely difficult to achieve.
