The GOLD RIVER SWZ series separator is engineered for demanding applications and effectively handles challenging materials that disrupt separation processes in commonly available market separators. SWZ water separators specialize in separating heavy fractions (non-ferrous metals) from plastics and other materials during secondary raw material recycling processes.
The SWZ separator is fitted with a four-section copper water system featuring radial nozzles with adjustable linear geometry. The unit incorporates the latest generation divided separation mat. A modern pre-separation and material preparation module ensures rapid recovery and high purity of reclaimed materials (plastics, metals).
Why use a water system?
Our device utilizes a system inspired by gold recovery technology. Water acts both as a medium and a gentle separating force on materials. Heavier particles are gently washed and separated, ensuring no losses throughout the process. The unique properties of water, combined with our proprietary solutions, outperform traditional air separation technologies.
SWZ-type separators are used for:
- Separation of heavy and light materials (such as metal granulates contaminated with plastics, film, paper, cotton, fibers)
- Cleaning plastics following air (dry) separation processes
- Separation of metals in cable and non-ferrous recycling lines
The SWZ-700 water separator, equipped with the latest module, achieves rapid processing, offering a high throughput of approximately 1200 kg/h.
Operation description:
Material enters the separator via the conveyor chute, reaching the module for initial fractionation based on mass and moisture parameters. Some material is separated during this initial stage. In the second module segment, the moisture content of the batch is further adjusted. Material then descends onto the separation table for final fraction sorting. This process yields recoverable materials on both sides of the separator.
Construction features:
The robust structural frame and inertia drive are constructed of materials selected to resist overload from vibration. The supporting frame offers excellent rigidity for reliable, long-term service. Thanks to the vibration drive design, no soil isolation is required. The separation table features hydraulic adjustment for angle of inclination, as well as a dedicated module for initial pre-fractionation and preparation. The water system includes multiple pressure valves, and its circulation is closed-loop—no continual external water supply is required as the system operates with recirculated water from onboard reservoirs.
